Based on the original Transformer cartoon of the 1980’s, these cels are original drawings printed onto acetate and then hand painted to match the images that have been etched on Transformers fans minds for over 30 years. All of the images here are available for purchase, or if you prefer a one of a kind custom piece you can personally commission a favorite scene or a specific character. As each cel is hand painted, colors may vary slightly from the screen image.
About the artist
Jon Krause starting honing his craft at the age of 9 by meticulously recreating Transformers packaging art and cartoon imagery. Now, his professional time is spent doing commissioned artwork for editorial and advertising clients like Time Magazine, The New York Times, Readers Digest, and many others.
